History & significance
The principal Jain basadi of Moodabidri, begun in 1430 by the local chieftain Devaraya Wodeyar and named for the many carved pillars of its sequence of halls. Its sanctum holds an eight-foot panchadhatu image of the Tirthankara Chandraprabha.
