A Hanuman temple at 1,975 m on the Chandigarh-Shimla highway, begun by Neem Karoli Baba in 1950, laid out in 1962 under Lieutenant Governor Bajrang Bahadur Singh and inaugurated on 21 June 1966. It also houses Rama, Sita and Lakshmana, Shiva and Ganesha, with a shrine to Neem Karoli Baba added in 1998, and serves bhandara meals on its busiest days.
