History & significance

A Delhi temple to Shani at Asola, reported to hold the largest rock image of the deity in the world, unveiled on 31 May 2003. Its eastern hall sets the Shani image beside the twelve Jyotirlingas, while the western section adds Shani on buffalo and vulture, Hanuman, an oblation pool and the nine planets.
