A Shvetambara Murtipujaka temple consecrated in V.S. 1918 (1861 CE), paid for at some £40,000 by Shah Velji Malu, Shah Keshavji Nayak, Shivji Nensi and the Osval Vania merchants of Kothara. Modelled on an Ahmedabad temple, its 78-by-69-foot marble hall carries domed porches, sixteen pillars and twenty-two pilasters around a 90 cm white marble Shantinatha in padmasana, earning it the epithet Kalyan Tunk.
