The most important Jain tirtha, a 1,365 m hill in Giridih district where twenty of the twenty-four tirthankaras are believed to have attained moksha; its summit shrines are held equally sacred by Digambara and Svetambara Jains.
Parshvanatha is said to have attained liberation at the Suvarnabhadra kuta, whose footprint shrine is marked by a chatra.
