A low-country temple at Karagampitiya whose vihara was finished in 1795 and its stupa in 1796, with Buddha images dating from 1780 and a Bodhi tree raised from the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi at Anuradhapura. Its murals are valued for bridging the conventional eighteenth-century hill-country manner and the more realistic nineteenth-century low-country style.
