A temple in Bangaon village of the Mithila region honouring the Vedic sage Bodhayan, author of the Baudhayana Sutras; its foundation was laid in 1956 by Devraha Baba with the Sanskrit scholar Sarvabhaum Vasudevacharya and the building finished in 1958 on twenty-five acres given by the villagers. A tank named Baudhayan Sarovar was dug beside it and an image of Vasudevacharya stands outside the shrine.

The site is held to be the birthplace of Bodhayan, and the old banyan tree in its grounds is remembered as the seat of his penance.
