A hill pilgrimage centre in Pyuthan District dedicated to Narayana and Shiva, established in 1895 (Vaisakha Purnima 1952 BS) by Guru Maharaj Narayana Gautama Khatri, known as Swami Hamsananda, who spent most of his life on the ridge herding and milking thousands of cows; the site is closely bound to the veneration of the cow in Hinduism.
