A hilltop Shiva temple on Keecheri hill in Kannur district, credited to Vatukavarma of the Mushika dynasty around 500 CE and counted among Kerala's 108 ancient Shiva shrines. Its eight-petalled ashtadala plan is described as without parallel elsewhere in India, and it is nicknamed the Kailasa of North Malabar.
