Cherthala (Alappuzha district), Kerala · 9.6946°, 76.3277°
A Shiva temple at Cherthala counted among Kerala's 108 Shiva shrines, and one of very few in the state with two nalambalams and two flagstaffs. Many Kerala families regard it as their ancestral moolasthanam.
The temple's Shiva image is said to have been installed by the sage Parasurama himself.
