History & significance

A Krishna temple at Chendamangalam in Ernakulam district, founded by settled Goud Saraswat Brahmin families under Chennoth Parambil Dasa Prabhu on land given by the Paliath Valiyachan of the Paliyam house, with the pratishta performed on 30 April 1900. It keeps a stone principal image with a separate utsava murti and figures of Garuda and Hanuman, and its six-day festival falls in Vaisakha.
