A Theravada teaching monastery in Siem Reap whose name records its origin as a damnak, a royal residence of King Sisowath, completed in 1927 and later given over to the sangha. Its shutters and doors are carved with Reamker scenes, its 1950s stupas copy Banteay Srei, and since 1999 it has also housed the Center for Khmer Studies.
