A 12th-century Shiva temple at Garedi Panchana in Balipatna block, some 22 km from Bhubaneswar, attributed to king Chodaganga Dev and laid out on Tantric principles. It was renovated recently with 14th Finance Commission funds.
It is believed locally that a snakebite victim brought into the temple precinct will not die.
