An eighth-century shrine at Baideshwar in Cuttack district built as a khakhara vimana in the early Kalinga manner, comparable to the Vaital Deula and the Varahi Deula at Chaurasi. Besides the eight-armed Durga it houses images of Parvati, Aja-Ekapada Bhairava and Ganesha.
