A temple at Khandsa village in Gurugram, built in 1721 by a well-off villager, described as the only Hindu temple anywhere dedicated to Ekalavya of the Mahabharata.
Ekalavya, self-taught and found to outshine Arjuna, cut off his right thumb when Dronacharya asked for it as gurudakshina, and the temple stands where the thumb is said to have been buried.
