Raised in 1643 by the Malla king Raghunath Singha, this laterite pancharatna temple stands 64 feet high on a 45-foot square base and is the largest stone temple in Bankura district. Its stucco decoration shows avatars of Vishnu and raslila scenes; the ASI took charge of the derelict monument in 1996.
