A hilltop Shaiva temple on Harshagiri about 14 km from Sikar, finished in 956 CE under the Chahamana king Vigraharaja I and endowed by the Pashupata teacher Allata from donated funds. A 973 CE inscription describes the hill as Shiva's earthly counterpart to Mount Kailasa, and the shrine drew gifts from merchants working the regional trade routes.
