A nineteenth-century temple in the grounds of Ujjayanta Palace at Agartala, built by Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya on an octagonal base rising through four storeys to bright orange stepped shikharas. Its blend of Hindu, Buddhist and Islamic forms is characteristic of Tripura's court architecture, and its Ratha Yatra is now the state's principal such celebration.
