Raised in 1655 by Raghunath Singha of the Malla kingdom, this is the largest surviving jor-bangla temple and among the best known terracotta temples of Bengal. It is a Monument of National Importance under the Archaeological Survey of India and was added to the UNESCO tentative list in 1998.
