Tutelary goddess of the Bhanja rulers at Khiching, their old capital, the shrine is built entirely of black chlorite and enshrines a ten-armed Chamunda-Kali. The present rekha vimana is a 1934 reconstruction by Maharaja Pratap Chandra Bhanj Deo; an attached museum founded in 1922 is the second-oldest in Odisha.
