Uthiramerur, Tamil Nadu · 12.6147°, 79.7550°
A Vishnu temple at Uthiramerur in Kanchipuram district raised by the Pallava king Nandivarman II around 750 CE and extended by the Cholas, Pandyas, Sambuvarayas, Vijayanagara rulers and Nayaks. Spread over about two acres behind granite walls, it has a five-tiered rajagopuram and follows Vaikhanasa Agama worship in the Vadakalai tradition.
Sundaravarada Perumal is believed to have shown himself here to the Pandava brothers Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva, and the goddess Anandavalli to Draupadi.
