A Pallava rock-cut shrine near Mahabalipuram, its portico framed by a crown of carved tiger heads, attributed to the reign of Rajasimha Narasimhavarman II. An inscription found in the complex in 2005 led to the excavation of an older Murugan temple of Sangam date nearby; the site is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India.
