History & significance

A rock-cut cave shrine at Malayadipatti in Kulathur taluk, attributed to Kuvaavan Satthan around 730 CE and carrying an inscription of the Pallava king Nandivarman (775–826 CE). It is one of a twin pair of cave temples at the site, the other dedicated to Vishnu.
