History & significance

A Shiva temple on a cliff beside the Arabian Sea near Vizhinjam in southern Kerala, built in a style close to that of Tamil Nadu with a sculpted gopuram. It is known above all for an 18-metre Gangadhareshwara figure carved by the local artist P. S. Devadathan between 2014 and 2020, the tallest Shiva sculpture in Kerala.
