A Jain temple at Karanthattankudi near Thanjavur enshrining the first Tirthankara Rishabhanatha as Adisvaraswamy, with a two-tiered vimana, rajagopura and a sequence of mandapas added about three centuries ago. It is the only temple in Tamil Nadu with a separate shrine for the Jinavani.
