History & significance

A 13th-century grey sandstone shrine on a saptaratha plan in the Old Town of Bhubaneswar, close to the western wall of the Lingaraja temple. It remains in worship, and the processional image of Lingaraja is brought here on the sixth day after Shivaratri.
