A Shiva temple at Gurunathanmannu in Pathanamthitta district that lay abandoned until a hunter came upon it in the 1940s. Worship was restored and is now held on the first day of every Malayalam month, with Shivaratri as the yearly festival.
The shrine is held to have been established by Parashurama, and local tradition says Rama performed worship at the spot.
