A Shiva temple about a kilometre from Neyyattinkara whose sreekovil holds an east-facing lingam together with a west-facing Parvati; Maha Shivaratri with its Pongala offering and a ten-day festival in December–January are the main observances.
The temple's name comes from the belief that Rama himself installed the image here, and it is counted among the 108 Shiva temples ascribed to the sage Parasurama.
