A Shakta temple on the bank of the Katuwa Khola a short way north of Ghorahi, counted among the Shaktipeethas and known locally as Maiko Than, the Mother's Place. Shivaratri, Teej, Dashain and Kalratri are its principal festivals.

The Swasthani Purana holds that this Shaktipeetha arose where the right ear of Sati fell to earth.
