A Digambara Jain atishaya kshetra in Kushalgarh tehsil of Banswara district, some 40 km from Banswara town. The fourteenth-century temple's chief image is a mulnayak of Parshvanatha thought to be older still, of the twelfth or thirteenth century.
What follows is the temple’s own traditional account, transmitted through liturgy and local memory. It is recorded here as tradition, not as attested history.
The Parshvanatha image is said to have come to light when local tribespeople turned it up while working their fields.
