A hill shrine to Hanuman at Aragonda in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, whose name means 'half mountain'. It is known for a perennial spring on the hill that pilgrims regard as medicinal.
Legend holds that when Hanuman was carrying the Dronagiri mountain of healing herbs, Bharata shot him down with an arrow and half the mountain fell here, giving the place its name.
