One of the five principal Sastha temples of Kerala, at Aryankavu in Kollam district, where the deity is worshipped as a youth seated on an elephant with Pushkala at his left and Shiva at his right; it is administered by the Travancore Devaswom Board.
The image is held to have been consecrated by Parashurama, and Sastha is said to have married Pushkaladevi here, an event kept each December as the Thiru Kalyanam festival.
