A Shaiva temple near the Kaveri at Mohanur with a single prakaram, the lingam facing west and the goddess east, and shrines to Vinayaka, Subramania, Nataraja, Kali and the 63 Nayanars. It is one of the Vaippu Sthalams named in the hymns of Appar, and Maha Shivaratri is its chief festival.
Local tradition holds that a small spring rises from beneath the feet of the presiding deity and runs to the Kaveri.
