A Digambar Jain pilgrimage centre in the Satpura range of south-western Madhya Pradesh whose 84-foot rock-cut standing image of Rishabhadeva is among the largest monolithic Jain statues in the world, set among a group of eleven temples.
Indrajit, Kumbhakarna and other ascetics are said to have attained emancipation here through self-meditation, and their ancient footprint images are preserved at the Chulgiri shrine.
