A Karma Kagyu monastery above Singtam in southern Sikkim, founded in 1873 and rebuilt in 1954 after earthquake damage. Its manilhakang holds images of Amitabha and the thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara, and its prayer-wheel building, also of 1954, was rebuilt in 1987.
