A Shiva shrine on Dakini Hill about 13 km from Guwahati where a hill stream runs continuously over the lingam; devotees hold it to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, an identification scholars dispute. Maha Shivaratri is its principal observance.
The Shiva Purana account told here has Shiva destroying the demon Bhimasura when he attacked King Priyadharman at worship, the stream over the lingam being Shiva's perspiration from that fight.
