A Shiva shrine around a natural rock linga near Marouda in Gariaband district, described as the second largest natural Shivlinga in the world after Siddheshwarnath at Ziro. Devotees hold that it keeps growing and officials measure it each year; pilgrims come at Mahashivaratri and on the Mondays of Sawan, carrying Mahanadi water in the kanwar yatra.

Centuries ago a zamindar named Shobha Singh is said to have heard a bull screaming and a lion roaring from the spot; when villagers found no animals there they took the sound to come from the stone and worshipped it as a Shivlinga.
