Palia, Bhadrak district, Odisha · 21.0275°, 86.6111°
A thirteenth-century sun temple at Palia in Bhadrak district, reconstructed in the early twentieth century by a local zamindar. Its sanctum holds a four-faced stone Surya image on a seven-horse chariot, and its eastern doorjambs appear to be reused from a 10th-11th century Shaiva temple.
