A hill shrine above Diguvapalli in Chowdepalli mandal, Annamayya district, built and long maintained by the Boya and Pala Ekari communities of the surrounding forest. It passed to the Andhra Pradesh Endowments Department in 1990.
The goddess is said to have come down from the hillock to shield the forest communities from a Nawab's soldiers, destroying his army and hanging the heads of the slain on the branches of a banyan.
