A late-Kalingan shrine on the Bindusagar tank in old Bhubaneswar, unusual in India for having Brahma as its presiding deity. It was built under the Gajapati rulers and is tied ritually to the Lingaraja temple nearby.
It is said that Brahma came to Lingaraja's coronation and promised to return every year in the month of Chaitra to serve as the charioteer of Lingaraja's car.
