A Zen temple on a hill about 4 km from Biên Hòa, begun in the 17th century as a small shrine by Thích Bửu Phong, rebuilt by Chinese Buddhist settlers late in the 18th century, renovated in 1760 by Thích Viên Quang and enlarged in 1829 on donations from Nguyễn Văn Hiệp and Nguyễn Văn Tâm. Its main hall keeps an old statue of Amitabha, and a stupa on the grounds holds Buddhist relics.
