A Durga temple on the Pampa at Neerattupuram, about 9 km from Thiruvalla, which grew from a family shrine into one of Kerala's best-known temples. Its Pongala in the month of Vrischikam draws hundreds of thousands of women, and it also keeps the twelve-day Panthrandu Noyampu fast and the Naree Pooja.
