History & significance

A Bhadrakali temple at Kodamthuruth near Ezhupunna, midway between Vyttila and Cherthala, held and run by the eight households of the Ettu Veettil Kartha family. Its ten-day Utsavam falls in the Malayalam month of Kumbham, and two subsidiary shrines to Sastha and Krishna belong to it.
