History & significance

A nineteenth-century Shiva temple in Patia village on the northern edge of Bhubaneswar, enshrining a lingam set in a circular yoni pitha. Built of laterite and ashlar in the Kalinga idiom, it retains its vimana with a later concrete hall serving as jagamohana.
