A temple to Krishna and Narasimha on the bank of the Periyar at Chelamattom near Kalady, known as the Dakshina Kasi and noted for its stone carving and bronze lamp pillars. It is one of the riverside sites where the bali tharpanam rite for the ancestors is performed, especially at Karkidaka Vavu.
