A Jagannath shrine at the village of Chhatia between Cuttack and Jajpur in Odisha, named for the banyan tree at the site and tied in local belief to the coming Kalki avatar. It is a well-known stop for pilgrims travelling the Cuttack-Jajpur road.
The seer Hadidas is said to have foretold that when the sea rises and fish play on the steps of the Puri temple, Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra will leave Puri and take up residence at Chhatia, the one land left untouched.
