History & significance

Also called the Vaidyanatha Shiva temple, this small Kalingan shrine stands at Rathagada Chowk in the old town of Bhubaneswar. Local tradition credits it to the Kesharis (Somavamsis), though its design does not match that dynasty's usual work; the name comes from the Dola Mandapa across the street.
