A 12th-century Shiva temple near Dakor, unusual for its period in following the central Indian bhumija form of Malwa rather than Paramara models while carrying Gujarati Chaulukya ornament. Its square sanctum opens into an octagonal pillared hall; the shikhara and mandapa fell in 1908 and the Archaeological Survey of India completed their restoration in September 2021.

The site is linked in tradition to the sage Galava, whose name it carries, and to the mythical king Chandrahas.
