History & significance

Five marble Jain temples in Banaskantha district built under the Chaulukya kings Bhima I, Karna and Jayasimha Siddharaja. Kumbharia was a major Jain centre said once to have held hundreds of shrines, and the surviving ceilings are among the finest Chaulukyan carving in Gujarat.
