One of the 108 Shiva temples of Kerala, near Mala in Thrissur district, unusual in having two main shrines whose Shiva forms are worshipped as Thekkedathappan and Vadakkedathappan. Parvati and Subramanya are enshrined in the northern shrine.
The shrine is traditionally said to have been consecrated by the sage Parashurama.
